Basal cell carcinoma is the most common skin cancer. Here's more info than I can squeeze into 400 characters: https://www.skincancer.org/skin-cancer-information/basal-cell-carcinoma/

It is a locally invasive cancer and removal should be curative. It is common in sun exposed area. If a lesion recurs, see your doctor. Wish you good health!

BCC is a cancer due to sun exposure. It’s only locally aggressive,it doesn’t cause metastasis.Oher cancer types due to sun exposure are more aggressive, so,start using a daily sunblock, long sleeves, a wide brimmed hat & sit in the shade.if your BCC is not completely treated, go back to finish the treatment with Dermatology. Also,go back if any new pink or gray shiny, scaly or bleedy lesion appears.
