Speak to your surgeon regarding what to use but discuss possible use of a donut cushion, and possible use of alternate day mupirocin to prevent infection as well as washing the area 2 -3 x a day ( wipe off with antibacterial wipes), and getting up every 30-45 minutes to decrease pressure.
