Can i take over counter diuretic (diurex) while taking metoprolol and prilosec? dr said i should and i did take hydrochlorathyside but havent taken it in a while and they are expired . we are on a trip and the long drive is causing swelling?

Hi doctors. I take Metoprolol ER 100 mg and Losartan 100 mg. My Dr. wants me to take Losartan with a diuretic HCTZ & keep the Metoprolol ER. I take regular Losartan at night now--should I take the diuretic in the am? When should I take Metoprolol ER?
I've been on metoprolol for 4 weeks and olmesartan for 2--both for high bp. I hated the side effects .PA's putting me on new rx. PA said stop everything & take olmesartan with diuretic. Thought I shouldn't abruptly stop beta blcker. I'm worried?
Can I take bentyl , metoprolol and Prilosec together ? Maybe not at the same time but in the same day? I see that bentyl can have the same affects like metoprolol and I dont want my pressure to get too low?
