"Meprate" is a synthetic progesterone, which is given to initiate bleeding when stopped, for women with non-ovulatory cycles (infrequent bleeding episodes). See your gyn provider for the cause for the progesterone medication (polycystic ovarian syndrome, infertility, etc.) .
