Depends: The progesterone triggers the bleeding by providing the hormone that you were presumably low in which allowed your estrogen to continue building up the lining of the uterus unopposed. This may get your cycle back on track but if you have Polycystic Ovary Syndrome it may happen again. Speak with provider about why they felt you needed the progesterone and what they expect after this regimen.
