A member asked:

If you take oral provera (medroxyprogesterone) for 10 days and if you get your period with it and then if you don't take it next month, will your period come on it's own?

Sometimes: It depends on the underlying problem. Sometimes a short course of Provera (medroxyprogesterone) that is used to cause you to have a period will 'kick start' things and you will resume a normal cycle. If it does not then you can take the medicine again.
