Official guidance: Official line is onset unknown. General in practice advice is average 1 week but sometimes unto 15 days. After this time if no period has been achieved it is usually recommended to seek further medical attention and investigation. You may wish to discuss your followup plan by directly contacting the doctor that prescribed/recommended this. All the best.

Meprate: period?: If you are not pregnant, it may take as many as ten days after finishing the medication for bleeding to begin. Remember, that this is just "withdrawal" to the medication, and is not a "real" menstrual period. The causes of not having a period prior to this use of meprate should be looked into.
