An eye pressure of 65 is very high, as a normal intraocular pressure (IOP) is typically below 20. Pressures above 50 have the potential to cause permanent damage in just a few days and can ultimately lead to irreversible blindness. An IOP this high is often caused by an eye (or body) condition that requires a laser procedure or eye surgery. Please seek ophthalmology care ASAP.
