I was diagnosed with folliculitis and i have pink-red spots all over my chest, legs, arms, and back. i have been taking keflex for a day and a half and its getting worse. is it normal to get worse before it gets better?

not really. You should be evaluated with a culture from the lesions and possibly might need a different medication. See a dermatologist for eval.
