: Since not all your knuckles are discolored, I'm sure this is harmless in your case. If all the knuckles &amp; fingernails&amp; lips were bluish concern would be that underoxygenated blood from lung disease,etc would be the cause. Some people have darkness of their knuckles of unknown cause and it's also considered a harmless finding.
