Good morning doctors. what may cause bluish and then purple knuckles on back of only the index and middle fingers of my left hand (i am left-handed)? other fingers had no discoloration?

Since not all your knuckles are discolored, I'm sure this is harmless in your case. If all the knuckles & fingernails& lips were bluish concern would be that underoxygenated blood from lung disease,etc would be the cause. Some people have darkness of their knuckles of unknown cause and it's also considered a harmless finding.
