A member asked:

I got my blood drawn yesterday, the rn tried to take blood from my upper arm, she was unable to get any blood she said this is because my blood was clotting. however i dont believe that is a thing , i think she could not get a vein. am i correct ?

If the technician cannot get the blood to flow into the needle fast enough it will clot & block further blood flow. It's not that you are too clot prone, it is just a fact encountered sometimes when trying to get a sample. You likely were just hard to sample at that occasion.
