A member asked:

Sometimes i get like 3 very strong heart beats, then it continue it's normal rythm and sometimes it continue fast but not strong some minutes. and sometimes i get tachycardia after eating... is this something normal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It may be harmless premature atrial or ventricular premature beats. They can be more prevalent during or after eating due to changes in blood flow, heart rate and blood pressure. I feel it's important to determine the nature and extent of your heart rhythm changes during palpitations. Wearing an outpatient heart monitor would determine this. Discuss with your MD.
