You should see acute care for further work up and management. As a smoker, there are several conditions which may cause these symptoms. If the symptoms are not severe, a well established urgent care center with radiology may also be one option. If you have a diagnosis of asthma, follow your asthma action plan. Avoid smoking and try to quit. There are several resources including the ALA.
