I have pain around my vaginal opening, kind of red, white thick discharge, burning when urinating and frequent urinating. no smells. is this a uti or yeast infection? can i do anything at home to help?

If you are at risk of sexual transmitted disease, it needs to be ruled out with these symptoms. Yeast vaginitis is more itching than pain and less likely you will have symptoms UTI (frequency + pain with urination). However, a simple lower UTI does not cause vaginal symptom with white thick discharge. I wonder if you have any underlying disease. Go to urgent care, drink fluid well in the meantime.
