A member asked:

I am having a corneal transplant on june 7. 1 week away. should i stop taking aleve pm?

Naproxen/Diphenhydramine can increase your tendency to bleed like aspirin and other NSAIDs, and the antihistamine can dry the eyes out. So while the risk is not great, you should stop any medications that are not absolutely necessary, and report the changes to your internist, ophthalmologist and the anesthesia team.
