A 25-year-old female asked:
I may have walked past and touched a downed bat with my sneaker. i don't think i had skin contact and didn't see the bat move when i was near it, but still worried i might not have noticed. should i talk to my doctor about the rabies vaccine?

Your description does not warrant a medical attention. You did not even have a direct contact with a bat let alone an absence of break in the skin.

While no risk of rabies transmission in above mentioned circumstances, you can definitely talk to your doc about your fears, as health related anxiety appears likely.
