I was bitten by a stray dog 12 days ago. but doctor did not give me a rabies vaccine e. now i am so worried . is there anything i can still do?

health department: You can call your local health department for guidance. Rabies is a regional issue with some ares more likely than others to have active rabies in the animal population. Regional health departments participate in nationwide monitoring & often hold/control the local vaccine supply. Call & see. If there is no rabies in your region, no problem. If there is they can give you your options.
