Chances of fertility are likely quite good because 90% of undescended testicles are located outside abdominal cavity, ie in inguinal canal, groin or lower. Such undescended testes, when corrected early on, usually produce normal, motile sperm. Prognosis is less good when both undescended testes are inside abdominal cavity. If necessary, semenalysis is best method to check fertility potential
