If you need syringes for your next few insulin injections and you’re out, go to your pharmacist and explain the situation.California Health Department allows pharmacists to dispense sterile syringes without prescription. A few syringes will give you time to get a hold of your regular supplier, or to get an order from Amazon.Another option is to look into the Diabetes Coalition in town etc
