It has now been one week since i have had my third orthovisc injection in the left knee. i am in excruciating pain when i try to straighten the knee it hurts so much i could just cry. can the orthovisc injection go outside the knee joint ?

Do NOT delay. Contact your orthopedic surgeon. Although rare, a joint infection may be present, especially if knee is hot and swollen.
