No worries. The ingredients in toothpaste are not toxic to skin nor can they cause burns or other problems. Since you rinsed it off and there is no lasting pain or discomfort, you can assume that everything is back to normal.

You do not have to worry at all as the sensation which you felt must have gone after cleaning the area with water . Just a rule of thumb ,anything meant for use in mouth can not be harmful to your health .

Toothpaste is formulated to be used in the mouth only. Outside of the mouth it can cause skin irritation. And the more and longer it's used, the greater the burn-like irritation.
