While Metronidazole is not thought to directly cause false positive THC results, it can lead to elevated liver enzymes which can cause a false positive. Other meds are known to cause false positive THC results such as: Ibuprofen, proton pump inhibitors, vitamin B supplements and Hemp seeds/milk.
