Many possibilities: Many possible causes of false positive. Mislabeled specimen, laboratory error, etc. Ask for a re-test.

Nope.: Oral swabs only detect stuff we've been exposed to in the last 24 - 48*. Notice I said "exposed to" not "used". But the swabs are incredibly sensitive! So if you've breathed in and out while you're around some folks who are smokin' weed, then you might show up positive.
