Taking one extra dose iron pill should be ok. Remember, we usually get iron from our diet so you probably have consumed extra iron if you ate a large amount of protein and you probably were fine. Common side effects from iron supplements are constipation, nausea, and dark stool. Taking an extra dose may make you more likely to have a common side effect, or it may have no effect at all.

Should be no problem; just watch for GI upset. May want to increase dietary source of iron, just google. Dietary sources are more easily absorbed and have less side effects.

That would be a total of 300 mg of elemental iron. I do not believe that it would cause serious systemic effects such as shock, but the dose is large enough to cause irritation of the stomach and intestinal lining and may cause bleeding. Of course, you may already have had nausea and vomiting.
