M frm south india.for everything to return to normal (like opening of schools/companies/church etc.), around 90% of people on our earth has to be vaccinated & also we have to make sure no new corona virus variants is there?this could take 1 more year?

Because Covid is so new, there is not enough information to determine exactly what will make the pandemic go away. It may be that numbers will fall when enough people have either had the disease or been vaccinated. Many Dr's are suggesting that this will be a seasonal illness such as the flu which comes every year in new variants and needs a yearly vaccine. We just don't know.
