Why would a person with repeatedly low cortisol blood tests, feel worse when given methylprednisolone - do some people only feel better with hydrocortisone replacement rather than methylprednisolone?

There should be no difference in how you feel unless you are taking too much or too little or you do not need any. Were you on ANY steroids when the cortisol levels were low? Including skin creams?
