Me and my other half are trying to conceive. due to type 1 diabetes and reoccurring infections he has to take co-amoxiclav which is 500mg amoxicillin and 125mg clavulanic acid. he had to take these almost constantly. how will this effect his sperm?

Men get somewhat a pass on the effect of exposures. Millions of sperm are created in a continuous process daily. Any of those impacted by drug/drink/etc. do not swim as well as the healthy one so they don't make it to conception. That said, neither his T1DM nor random antibiotic use have a significant effect. I wouldn't worry about.
