Many of the over the counter supplements are not adequately tested and in particular among teens. A multi vitamin though from a major brand should be fine, but please check with your PCP. Exercise and a weight reduction program may be available at your local health center. A referral is usually required and can be sent by your PCP.

Although the benefit of biotin in hair loss has not been conclusively proven , it is common to supplement a keto diet with biotin .The recommended dose for a15 yr old would be around 25mcg daily . Also it would be good to eat biotin rich foods like avocado, salmon, mushrooms, egg yolks and liver, besides ensuring an adequate intake of protein, zinc , iron and vitE.
