About 6 months ago i rubbed off a mole that had darkened. i rubbed it vigorously and it bled and left a dark spot. i heard that melanoma grows back quickly if rubbed off. if the mole i rubbed off was melanoma would it have grown back by now ?

Not a reliable way of ruling out melanoma as it may behave in different ways.Best would be to mention it to your doc during your regular annual exam so that he or she can examine and clarify.
