Combined therapy. Most will improve with a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy ( learning skills to cope with the patterns/understanding the disorder) plus one of several medications. Meds alone are often not the answer. Families can also benefit from seminars/learning sessions on working with ADHD kids.

Seek care from a child psychiatrist as there are multiple options for changing medications or adding medications to help. Sometimes Omega 3 supplementation is also helpful
