Oral Minoxidil is used to reduce High Blood Pressure. Because of its high risk for side effects, it is typically given with two other meds in order to limit the negative effects. Oral Minoxidil should not be used for hair loss treatment. For hair loss, it is used topically. It is not recommended to take this medication orally in this situation.
