The details are not known on this yet. If like flu should last a year. Only time and more research will tell. Certainly at least 9 months so far in most. Depends on each persons immune system as well and varies by age.

The research is still ongoing to determine the duration of effective antibody to COVID 19 however it is more than 6 months; but they are already aware of the possibility of need for booster in the future. There is also concern for variants strains like in Influenzae that may warrant the need for the boosters. The antibody wanes over time, but sometime the body when challenged may re-boost itself.
