I just got done with covid & have been constipated. also, covid has messed with my hormones and i have gotten a period twice this month. i had a bm and had a lot of mucus&red-like strings with little amount of blood. is this worrisome? also bloated?

Blood in a BM is abnormal &must be explained. In your case, if the blood was scanty&very fresh looking, a benign condition like an anal fissure or mild rectal inflammation is most likely. Mucus in stools can be from rectal inflammation as well as irritable syndrome with loose stools. Avoid constipation by drinking adequate amounts of fluids and eating fiber.
