Likely the side effects will occur, usually 8-12 hours after the shot, getting worse in the next 24 hours and resolve at the end of day 2. You can take Acetaminophen (Tylenol) for fever more than 101, body aching, pain at injection site, etc. Dose is 650 -1,000 mg every 6-8 hours as needed. Please note that Tylenol does not make the vaccine less effective.
