Talk to the doctor who prescribed the steroid. Given the reaction you described, it would be appropriate to not take the next dose. Do talk to the doctor at your earliest. You could use acetaminophen or advil for pain. Wish you good health!

Rather unusual to occur suddenly after a second dose, but contact your doctor and discuss the next steps. For time being, place on hold and assume that this was a medication reaction.
