I have mild acne for 2 months, dermatologist wants me to take oral antibiotics, is there another way? can i wait it out? current in using adapalene gel x1 and benzoyl peroxide x2 day?

Yes, you could take topical antibiotics which might be a bit safer and still very effective. There are also antibiotic washes that might prove helpful. There also are stronger topical retinoids such as retin A that might be used instead of a weaker one , adapalene which you are currently using. Also, looking at your particular age, there might be another approach using mild hormonal tx. Ask derm
