So a little over two weeks after my son was born, i noticed that he had two pimples on his private area. but it happened once. he didnt seem bothered by it. i have hsv 1, and i dont want him to have it? doctor never confirmed what it was?

Hard to say very much without more information. Is your HSV1 infection genital? Did the doctor think it was herpes? Was the baby tested, e.g. with a culture or PCR test from the pimples? Even if this was herpes, if the baby is otherwise well, this probably will never be an important health problem for him. Discuss further with the pediatrician.
