Does hsv oral look like white pimples on the gums? i have one white pimple on one gum and my jaw and cheek are tender on that side. i have hsv2 genital and no new partners, no hsv oral previously. doctor said it doesnt look herpetic or like abcess?

You cannot transfer your own HSV2 to your mouth, and your description doesn't sound at all like herpes. Follow your doctor's advice. Good luck.

White lesions in the mouth, and there are multiple scores of different white lesions, should be followed. If they are not completely gone in 14 days, important that they be evaluated. If not completely gone I 2 weeks, immediately see your Dentist. Referral to specialist in Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology, or Oral Surgery may then be prudent.
