A few years ago i got hurt by trying to catch a football and it pushed my pinky wayback when i was trying to catch it. now it hurts at the base in between my pinky finger and my ring finger. how do i treat this?

You may have a chip fracture or not. You may be at risk of poor healing if this is not assessed. It may heal if you just tape the 2 outer fingers together so the healthier one keeps the other mobile. Proper treatment requires an exam and x-ray if deemed appropriate.
