You could have a diverticulum in the lower portion of your throat that the pill was lodged in. However if you had such a pouch I'd expect symptoms like regurgitating food particles on and off through the years. If symptoms continue have a thorough throat examination by an otolaryngologist (ENT).

You should see a gastroenterologist-they may need to look down into your esophagus with a lighted scope (upper endoscopy or EGD) to see if the pill is indeed stuck there. It can be removed at the same time, if necessary. So, see a GI doctor ASAP for diagnosis and treatment. Best of luck to you!
