Severe pain when fingers (or toes) are exposed to cold (water or air) is called Raynaud’s Phenomenon. Fingers/toes often turn intensely red when warming up. May be related to any one of several underlying severe conditions - or may be a variant of normal. Check with your doctor

It is called RYnauds Phenomen and most often has no know cause be can be a indicator of other systemic diseases. Keep a diary and share with team. Some fingers will change color from white, blue then red. White is when vasoconstricted, blue when trapped blood in fingers deoxygenated and red when vasoconstriction stops and red blood rushes into fingers. Could even take video to show Dr.
