2 days ago i had tingling in my ear down to my chin and a bit down my neck. it wasnt painful, but it did hurt when touched. the next day a slight rash started to occur on my face. and today, day 3, the rash has evolved to bumps and its very itchy?

Your symptoms suggest that you might have herpes zoster infection (shingles), especially you did not receive varicella vaccine in childhood and you had chicken pox when you were young. You need to see a doctor right away because you should receive antiviral treatment if herpes zoster infection is confirmed.

If the rash is one side of the body, it is consistent with shingles. See your doctor or go to an emergency room. Early treatment with antiviral drugs can reduce pain and prevent long term consequences.
