When push breast skin down i see dimpling but when raising arm no dimpling.i had mamm n us 15 days back.i have 4 hypoechoic nodules in same breast from last sep.i have follow up in 6 months.wasnt aware dimpling is a symptom.can mamm n us miss anythin?

Mammogram is good test to detect breast cancer(detects 90% of cancers). But it has to be used in conjunction with a clinical breast examination to pick up the remaining 10%. So you should have a breast examination done by your gynecologist or PCP. Ultrasound is used as a complementary test and is useful in that it adds to the value of the mammogram.
