When i take a deep breath, i hear a gurgling sound in my chest. no pain or other symptoms, just the gurgling. what can be causing this? does this sound worrisome, like pleural effusion/lung cancer?

Please see your PCP, and a chest image may be indicated. If you see blebs on the skin, have difficulty breathing, please see the Emergency Department. Otherwise, also discuss GERD with your PCP. Avoid smoke exposure, spicy foods and eating while lying down.

If this is the only health issue, it could be explained by the downward movement of diaphragm, on deep breathing. disturbing the air/fluid level normally present in the stomach. For healthy diet: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/., exercise 30 minutes/day, drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs. Get HPV and Covid vaccines.
