I cannot speak for what limitations you might have from your religion. Episcleritis attacks are best treated with topical liquid steroids that an ophthalmologist can prescribe. It sounds like you have had this in the past so perhaps you have some steroid sitting on a shelf which you can start for treat, but do see an ophthalmologist as soon as you can.
