Hi doctors. several of my friends experienced some type of reaction to the covid vaccine. thank god i did not have any reaction at all to either phfizershot--oes that mean that i have less or weaker immunity? is that unusual or odd?

No it does not mean you have a weaker immunity as far as I know with any kind of vaccination. It could mean you have not had COVID in past and they had? We will know in a year or so is my guess. Many with COVID have no symptoms. One reason to always wear a mask. Even if you have had shot or COVID. Don’t bet your live or your loved ones on not wearing a mask.

Reaction to the vaccine has no bearing on your antibody production. You have a 95% chance of having protection. If nervous (you obviously are) get an antibody test in 2 wks.

Just 5% of the participants in a study reported side effects after their first inoculation, although 43% said that they experienced side effects after the second one. While many assume that side effects from a COVID-19 vaccine mean that the shot is working, the reality is that people should not interpret the symptoms that way. Whether one experienced side effects or not, the vaccines usually work.
