20 y/o M LBP: For worsening low back pain (lbp) with a normal x-ray, MRI is needed. Not all causes of lbp are seen on x-ray. If MRI is normal, should consult spine surgeon (they don't just operate don't worry), pmr, pain management. Lbp in a 20 year-old should be diagnosed properly to help prevent future problems. Labs & proper medical evaluation is too needed to rule out seronegative spondy or other ctd's.
