My upper right (just right of centre) abdomen hurts only when i lie on my left. feels like dull pressure but also tender to press in same spot. my drs don't know what's causing it. any ideas please?

Pain on right upper abdomen especially when "lying on left side" will push abdominal contents to the upper right side. An inflamed gall bladder or stones in the gall bladder may be the cause. Get a referral to a GI specialist who may order an ultrasound or radiologic test to diagnose this problem.
