Like a centimeter right above belly button is tinder . putting my finger on it and pushing in and out hurts it and its tender. i get like a burning feeling in that spot pretty often . any idea what this could possibly be ?

Doctor can evaluate: Many things are in the upper abdomen: stomach, pancreas, liver, small intestine, gall bladder, large intestine, abdominal muscles, etc... An exam by one's primary care doctor can help figure things out. A patient can mark the spot with a regular pen and show the doctor where the problem is. That said, any person can press hard enough on his belly to cause tenderness. Pain is relative.
