Questionable: As i mentioned in several other posts, i believe that vitrectomy is an option when all other options are ruled out and the floaters have been there for at least six months. Of course you need an exam to establish that it is the floaters that are the cause of your concern. Remember there are risks with every surgical procedure, but vitrectomy is extremely safe in good hands. Beware cataracts.
